Transportation and Exploring Baltimore

If you're flying into BWI, you may want to use the light rail, the most popular way to get into Baltimore via public transportation. It leaves directly from the airport and travels to the Baltimore Convention Center in the Inner Harbor. Alternatively, ride-share options are available, as well as your standard taxi service.

If you are driving to Baltimore, parking is available at your own cost in nearby parking garages and surface lots adjacent to the Baltimore Convention Center.

Once you're in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, the area is a very walkable area. However, we do have shuttle services available from various locations to conference-related locations.

On your free Tuesday night, we have some resources to help you explore Baltimore:

Community Services - Giving Back

As is customary with an NMSDC event, we always want to give back to the community that is hosting us. This year we are supporting Paul’s Place, a nonprofit improving the quality of life in Southwest Baltimore which offers more than 20 programs to help guests along a path to stability, fostering hope, personal dignity, and growth.

Participate by purchasing something from one of their three Amazon wish lists:

You can also bring the following suggested items to the conference to make an in-person donation: shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, tissues, lotion, and/or deodorant.
